It's crazy to think about, but believe it or not we are in the home stretch of 2021 - the final few weeks of the year. With that, it's a great time to reflect on the year in whole and to take stock of where you're at.
Specifically I want to focus on your health and fitness goals - are you happy with the progress you've made in 2021? Have you achieved you the goals you set out for the year?
If you have, awesome! You should consider creating some new goals for 2022! Although I have a sneaky suspicion that if you accomplished your 2021 goals, you probably have your 2022 goals all planned out by now 😉
If you haven't accomplished your goals, or aren't happy with your progress, I want to ask you why. First of all, do you have concrete goals set? If not, that could be the first place to start. If you did set goals, but haven't accomplished them, then let me ask you why. Was it something out of your control, such as an unlucky accident? Or was it something like lack of motivation or dedication to your goals?
The first step in understanding what went wrong (or what went right!) is to get super honest with ourselves. Truthfully, for most people, laziness and lack of dedication is the primary culprit. After-all, the year is long and it's hard to stay focused for 12 months!!
If you fall into this group - you had good intentions but just couldn't stick it out, then consider the benefits of working with a coach. Over the next few weeks I am going to outline the benefits of hiring a coach, and how they will help you stay accountable and dedicated for the entire year, so that you crush your goals. Oh, and if you don't have any goals, a coach will help you set some realistic and motivating goals!
